River restoration - STREAM project

STREAM project is organizing workshop on 3 October 2008 focusing the concept of River restoration. The workshop will be help at Langford Lakes, Wiltshire. According to STREAM website, the project is a £1 million conservation project began in September 2005. The project site is centred on the River Avon SAC and the Avon Valley SPA in Wiltshire and Hampshire.

STREAM is inviting competent authorities (local planners, Environment Agency, and Natural England staff) to a workshop to visit the works, and to discuss how river restoration relates to the management of designated sites. Please find details of the programme by clicking the project site.

International networking technologies event in Nepal

South Asian Network Operators Group (SANOG), a non-profit forum for Data Network Operators in South Asia, is organizing SANOG XII at Kathmandu from 6-14 August, 2008.

Association of Pharmaceutical producers of Nepal and GPE Expo Pvt. Ltd. are organizing second Nepal Pharma Expo - NPE - 2008 from 16 - 17 February 2008. The expo will take place at Birendra International Convention Centre, Kathmandu, Nepal.
