Mountain GIS e-conference 2008

The two-week GIS (geographic information systems) e-conference is being organised jointly by ICIMOD and the Mountain Forum Secretariat (MFS) from 14-25 January 2008.

The main objectives of the conference is to provide a virtual platform to share knowledge and experiences in the geo-information community by facilitating dialogue among a broad user base in the region and beyond.

International Conference on SKIMA 2008

International Conference on Software, Knowledge, Information Management and Applications (SKIMA) is scheduled for 18th-21st March, 2008 in Kathmandu, Nepal. The conference is organized by Kantipur Engineering College, Nepal and supported by international collaboration amongst professionals in Europe and Asia. The conference is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS).

International pharmaceutical exhibition - 2008

Association of Pharmaceutical producers of Nepal and GPE Expo Pvt. Ltd. are organizing second Nepal Pharma Expo - NPE - 2008 from 16 - 17 February 2008. The expo will take place at Birendra International Convention Centre, Kathmandu, Nepal.

The organizers state that NPE - 2008 will offer single platform to disseminate wide range of products/services that includes pharma processing plants equipments, packaging materials and machineries, fine chemicals, bulk drugs, environmental control Equipments (AHU), Lab Equipments, Analytical Laboratories Services & Supplies; and Pharma related services to the prospective customers.
