TWAS fellowships

The Academy of Sciences for the Developing World (TWAS) offers a number of postgraduate and postdoctoral fellowships to young scientists from developing countries. Three new programmes follow agreements with: the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Kolkata, India; the National Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), Lahore, Pakistan; and the International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), Karachi, Pakistan, which includes the HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry and the Dr. Panjwani Centre for Molecular and Drug Research. These new programmes complement TWAS's current South-South fellowship programme, which already provides for fellowships to be undertaken in institutions in India, Brazil and China.
