Chemistry for sustainable development

I got a comment and information from 'From science to society' on a conference in Nepal on May 2008. I am posting the same information here.

Nepal Chemical Society is organizing a national Chemical Congress - 2008 from May 23 - 25, 2008 in Kathmandu with the theme 'Chemistry for sustainable development'. The co-organisers of the congress are Tribhuvan University and Kathmandu University.

According to the society, 'the congress will discuss the latest developments in chemical researches, technologies and chemical education with special emphasis on role of chemistry on the sustainable development and improvement of the quality of life in developing countries'.
